SMAWATEC Flowstopper

Total Control at the Source The Flowstopper is installed directly at your building’s main water inlet. Unlike passive sensors, we don’t just alert you to a problem—we solve it.

  • Small-Leak Detection: Identify precise water flow of less than 100ml per minute (<2ml per second) to catch hidden leaks early.
  • Pipe-Break Detection: Identify large leaks and pipe breaks by the device registering unusually heavy flow over a short period of time.
  • Automatic Shut-Off: Our software detects anomalies—like a burst pipe or an open faucet—and triggers the valve to close automatically.
  • Fail-Safe Design: Includes a standard power supply plus an integrated backup battery lasting 2-3 days in case of power outages.
  • Manual Override: The valve can always be manually opened or closed by hand, ensuring you never lose access to your water.
